| 3.1 | Send cover letter together with the processing fee, telegraphic transfer slip and the following documents to the University of Malaya not later than 28 February or 30th July of the year: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (a) | Three (3) copies of the completed online application forms | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (b) | Three (3) copies of the cover letter. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (c) | Four (4) recent passport size photographs with blue background. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (d) | Three (3) certified copies of school certificate/transcripts and professional qualifications. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (e) | Three (3) certified copies of passport ( front page only). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (f) | Three (3) certified copies of academic certificate with detailed academic transcripts. Official translation is needed for applicants whose native language is not English or Malay. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (g) | One (1) financial statement showing financial capability from bank or relevant institution for self financing students: a letter of guarantee from the sponsor for the sponsored student. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (h) | English Language Requirement: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| For non-Malaysian citizen whose qualification from a school or institution where the medium of instruction is not English: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| i) | A score of 550 for paper-based total 213 for computer-base total for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ii) | A band of 6 for the International English Testing System (IELTS). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3.2 | Please separate the documents in three (3) sets and attach all the required documents to each cover letter. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3.3 | The academic sessions begins in September and applications must reach this office not later than 28 February or 30th July of the year. Status of application can be checked online upon two (2) months of submission deadline. Only successful application will be notified. Otherwise, your application is considered Unsuccessful. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
